The sounds in this composition originate from sung and spoken utterances as well as machine noise. Certain piano sounds serve as a bridge between these two sound worlds. The 8-channel spatial environment is not only used for positioning and moving sound structures but is intrinsically tied to their transformations. Each sound was conceived directly as an 8-channel spatial image, with its movement reinforcing the evolution of its timbre. Varying levels of density and intensity shape the composition into three main sections, forming relationships and connections—human vocalizations unfolding within an energetic space.
