Sonic resonances form the foundation of many musical textures in this work. The interwoven lines of the four instruments extend into the electronic sounds, and in turn, the electronics feed back into the instrumental gestures.
The concept of resonance also manifests in the interplay between strictly notated sections and moments of guided creative freedom. In several instances, only a few musical parameters are provided, serving as inspiration for the musicians’ improvisations.
Shifting energies and varying densities shape the overall musical flow, creating a dynamic interplay between solo and ensemble passages—much like an animated conversation among passionate individuals.
