Drei Traumgesichter

The entire material of the tape is based on sounds from the english horn. In addition to precise pitches, key and air noises, as well as individual short musical sequences were recorded with Axel Schmidt
This starting material was then transformed in varying degrees, leading away from the usual sounds of the instrument and stretching the normal register of the english horn to fill the entire spectrum. The three parts of the composition show different "visions" in which many associative layers overlap, step forward and disappear into obscurity.
During the performance the solo instrument enters in a dialogue with the tape, comments and fights it.
