Poems and letters by Georg Trakl open a space of voices, instrumental sounds, movement, and video images. Childhood lies at its heart: the selected texts evoke Trakl’s youth and his close bond with his sister while also awakening personal memories. The audience sits within the performance space. Water, stones, leaves, and branches become images and sounds and reappear in the projections. Music, dance, and language approach Trakl’s poetry from different directions, without confining it to a single interpretation.
