Markus Noisternig (IRCAM) and Hans Tutschku (Harvard) collaborated with EMPAC’s audio staff to explore the technical and artistic aspects of creating and presenting high-channel-count multi-channel audio projection. Each day featured seminar-style workshops and lectures, combined with hands-on experience with EMPAC’s extensive audio system, including its new Wave Field Synthesis array, totaling over 700 audio channels.
