Still Air 3 is part of a cycle for wind instruments and electronics, exploring the delicate yet intricate sonorities of quiet sounds. These compositions merge live instruments with prepared electronic textures, creating a subtle interplay between the two. In contrast to many of my other works, which focus on speed and density, this cycle seeks musical expression through minimal activity and refined nuance.
