Still Air 2 delves into the delicate yet intricate sonorities of quiet sounds, merging the live instrument with prepared electronic textures. As part of a series for solo wind instruments and electronics, it stands in stark contrast to many of my other compositions, which focus on speed and density. This cycle instead explores musical expression through minimal activity and subtle gestures.
