agitated slowness
"Agitated Slowness" continues my recent explorations of larger forms. Over an extended duration, clearly defined sections unfold, presenting contrasting states of density. The human voice, as the primary sound source, guides us through resonant spaces that are both calm and fast-pulsing.
The 24 channels surround the listener in a dome-like configuration, enabling the creation of aural spaces that transcend the physical dimensions of the concert hall.

The audio files are available as mono files (48 kHz, 24-bit).
The 24 loudspeakers are mounted in three rings of eight speakers each.
The lower ring, which receives channels 1–8, should be positioned approximately at ear height.
The middle ring receives channels 9–16, while the upper ring receives channels 17–24 and should be mounted in such a way that it approximates a dome shape with the lower rings.
The middle and upper rings have progressively smaller diameters.
